Sharing is caring!

If you’re looking for a quick and healthy snack that satisfies your sweet tooth and fuels your body, these peanut butter protein balls are about to become your new favorite go to.

Peanut Butter Balls

Made with wholesome ingredients like oats, peanut butter, honey and protein powder they’re high in protein, naturally sweetened and incredibly easy to make – No baking required!

These little bites are perfect for meal prep, post-workout snacks, or when you need an afternoon energy boost. Plus, the rich dark chocolate drizzle makes them feel like a treat without the guilt.

Ingredients:

-Oats: I prefer rolled oats

-Peanut Butter: I like to get peanut butter that just contains peanut butter and salt but you can use whatever you prefer. Creamy works best for this recipe

-Chocolate or vanilla protein powder. Optional but helps to make the protein content even higher. I like to use Vital Proteins Collagen

-Honey or Maple Syrup

-Add ins: I like to add chia seeds or pumpkin seeds and coconut flakes

-Dark Chocolate Chips to melt on top (optional but delicious)

-Dash of Salt and Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry ingredients: in a large bowl combine the dry ingredients.
  2. Add wet ingredients: stir in the peanut butter and sweetener until fully combined. It will be thick but sticky enough to roll.
  3. Form the protein balls. Use your hands or a cookie scoop to roll into 1-1.5 inch balls
  4. Chill: place on parchment paper covered pan and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Drizzle chocolate: melt in microwave or on stove top stirring frequently till smooth. Drizzle over the top and refrigerate until chocolate is hardened.
  6. Store: Keep in Fridge for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
